Once upon a time.....an essay by Denise Dresser not to be missed in Mexico Voices continual coverage of the situation in Apatzingan (all in English easy to read, wonderful coverage):
Mexico Voices
Adela Navarro Bello has noted Apatzingan here in her editorial opinion piece and asks the question, what next? ( I believe many of us are asking the same question unless you are an ostrich) Meanwhile, there have been more internet attacks against Aristegui Noticias as described in this article from Freedom House. Aristegui Noticias published "Ejemplo de represalias que enfrente el periodismo Freedom House" this morning which cites the Freedom House report, but I'll be darned if I cannot pull that report up.
This attack was believed to have been provoked by Aristegui's publication of the Laura Castellanos report from Proceso and of course what most of us believe - that the establishment simply does not like Carmen Aristegui. Since there is a better than good chance that both were reasons enough to hack and attack Aristegui, perhaps Carmen and her crew need to contact this guy and his team to help her out.

Democracy Now! has been covering the U.S. demonstrations of the relatives and friends of the 43 missing students along with interviews of the parents. In the text script, you will find links to prior conversations with author and journalist Anabel Hernandez who is now in exile from Mexico, teaching at UC Berkeley.

Well good luck - the United States wants to keep this war going until their puppets control the drugs, right? That means the United States will subsequently send heavy reinforcements not to eliminate the drugs, but to keep them in the "right" hands.
BTW. you can click "Espanol" at Democracy Now! and receive it in Spanish.
For Anabel Hernandez and all the others who are in exile - who have left Mexico because of the violence:

A friend of ours passed away down in Mazatlan so unsure right now if we are going to go down and perhaps bring her husband back up here. Also, pulled my other knee on the ladder. But I'll be back with the local situation.
