The past two days we have seen and heard undeniable evidence that Donald Trump incited the riot which shook Democracy to the core on January the Sixth in Washington D.C. As shown by the Impeachment Managers, this carnage was well planned, far in advance; but I wish someone could go back even further...say to when Barack O'bama was elected President, or even prior to that.
It would be interesting if we could be privy to the Trump gangster conversations at the clubhouse, on private golf courses, private planes,billion dollar homes, yachts and beaches. Gangster conversations with the elite like Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Mike Flynn , Steve Bannon to name a few of the criminal masterminds. Of course, these conversations would be rife with racism but the pressing debate seems to me would have been the attainment of permanent political power.
As we speak, Trump is living it up with really not a care in the world since he already knows he has the GOP by the balls and most likely he will not be convicted of anything. He is already making plans for a comeback along with his gangster amigos. It will indeed happen again.

I don't think even Jesus Christ could have been in the Senate and made those ball less Republicans vote to convict. Disgraceful.
We can only hope his other legal issues will put him in jail.
It is disturbing - and watching the news sources I'm getting that they really are not taking this as a plunge into the darkness: some are saying the DOJ will come after him but I'm not real confident in that or other lawsuits he may face.
So, Mike says matters will get worse, the great division going on...I have a couple of Juan Cole's takes & will try to get over here soon with those.
I guess we're supposed to just accept it and move along ? Seems weird to me on many levels. In fact, it's downright scary.
